When it comes to contemplative prayer, you might first think of Monks and nuns in sequestered communities, but anyone can engage in contemplative prayer. In this form of prayer, we are going beyond our thoughts to our innermost being, where we believe God resides. It’s a way of saying, "Here am I.” As we experience God, we are transformed in his presence. In the power of resurrection and transformation, we go as immortals from God’s presence into the world to advance Christ’s mercies and restore the earth—our home.

As new creatures through Christ's resurrection, we partake of His spontaneous, spiritual empowerment and share in a new, transformed humanity. We envision a reality that shatters the norms of this fallen world, and as immortals, we engage in a world-building venture full of danger, grandeur, and reward. In short, we join with Christ in expanding his ever present Kingdom.
